  very short and rude answers to my 2 straight forward questions, the older lady at the front shook her head when i changed my mind about purchasing a spare mask for 4 bucks. dont be such sad rip offs and id happily buy a mask.

  I used to live close to a chemist warehouse and now it's too far away, but I found this chemist that has a great variety and the young ladies are very nice, prices are affordable too.

  A personable, local, and professional community pharmacy. The opposite of the unfortunate Warehouse chains as shown by the staff's knowledge and care.

  This is a great example of an independent pharmacy, that even during this stressful time when pharmacists are on the front-line (Covid-19), have the time to put customers first and offer great, friendly advice. Highly recommended

  At 11.45 on Sunday March 8th I called into the pharmacy with a double script and asked if they had both items in stock. The young lady assistant thought so but would check. Some minutes later another person (an older blond woman, I think the manager of the day) placed a part- completed script on the counter and told me that one item was out of stock. I responded, somewhat annoyed, that I not asked "the person" (probably not a very polite term, but meaning the previous assistant) to fill the script but to check availability. The person now serving me responded rudely "did you say 'the person'? She does have a name". At which I stated, very tersely, more or less that whatever the person's name, she should have listened to what I asked and come back to me with a response on availability, and not assume to complete a part-script. I said that your staff need to listen and respond precisely to customer requests. She responded that I need to grow up, flounced off with both the filled and unfilled script, returned my originals to me and ordered me out of the pharmacy under threat of calling the police. I laughed at that threat, as I was in the right anyway, and responded "really? the police?"; I was utterly astounded, having done nothing wrong, other than being quite abrasive about the service received. She repeated her demand for me to leave the premises and not return. I stated that she would be hearing from me, as I was extremely annoyed, and suggested that she should learn how to deliver customer service and run a pharmacy. I then left, went to another pharmacy and received both scripts.
  I have used Angelo Street pharmacy often in the past, as it is my 'local' and I believe in local support. Until today I have received exemplary service, but I have never had the displeasure of being served by this person. In this case the service was totally 'missing in action', arrogant, superior, entitled (I took this very appropriate descriptor from another of the AS pharmacy reviews, as it suggests that my experience was not unique) and rude. Whilst I blame in part the first assistant for not respecting my original query, I point my finger fully at the second person, whose consummate disregard for customer service in my view renders her unfit to work in a service industry. I will think very seriously on whether or not I use the pharmacy again.
