As a case in point, after seeing a gap in our coverage Fordsure recommended stock throughput coverage to cover everything we have "moving" from A to B.
We'd never heard of it, but it made perfect sense at the time, and has now literally paid for itself in one single week.
We had a manufacturing run this week that should have been shipped from Brisbane to Sydney in one single shipment, but instead needed to be split into four (delays, backlogs etc)
Previously, we would have been paying our freight company for insurance for all four of those shipments, that we are now covered off the back of Derek's pro-active recommendation.
The savings from that recommendation has paid for itself this week alone, let alone the other 51 weeks we're still covered for everything else we have moving around the globe. There was definitely a moment we threw Derek a virtual high five!
Perhaps most importantly, we have learned how to better, and more strategically approach and hedge against risk, and that education will stay with us forever.
Who said insurance was a thankless job? Not us. Thank you Fordsure and Derek!
