    After 46 years in business, this shop is closing due to condo redevelopment. Good time to get extra value during the closing sale. Excellent service and repair facilities in store in the meantime.

    I just went to this store and was treated like garbage. As someone training to be a therapist, all I can say is that my experience would be mentally damaging to most. I have lived down the street in yorkville for 7 years and I have noticed that this shop has had a retirement sale for the last few years so I decided that I would take a look on my way to union Station for a gift.

    They sell knock-off van cleef jewelry and other standard items.
    When I was about to enter the store the man (which I am assuming is the owner) said "its not happening" and that I couldn't shop there. I am assuming this is because I am a woman of color.
    He yelled and said that the store was closed despite a customer being in there. I am truly disgusted. I did not deserve this discriminatory treatment. It should be no surprise that they have not been able to sell anything. It should be known that they treat people of color this way.

    I would be very cautious before committing to any large purchases. The irritable owner decides who is sales snd service-worthy and who is not. If you’re not flaunting several brands at once, you will be quickly abandoned
