I have lived down the street in yorkville for 7 years and I have noticed that this shop has had a retirement sale for the last few years so I decided that I would take a look on my way to union Station for a gift.
They sell knock-off van cleef jewelry and other standard items.
When I was about to enter the store the man (which I am assuming is the owner) said "its not happening" and that I couldn't shop there. I am assuming this is because I am a woman of color.
He yelled and said that the store was closed despite a customer being in there. I am truly disgusted. I did not deserve this discriminatory treatment. It should be no surprise that they have not been able to sell anything. The irritable owner decides who is sales snd service-worthy and who is not. If you’re not flaunting several brands at once, you will be quickly abandoned
